You can't find your way if you never leave the stoop.
Voices they travel,
Seen on a stoop
Watch your world unravel
In a town, full of wasted breath
Useless, defensless, absorbed
In the death, of a broken heart
Its about time you fell apart
Sing the trouble away
As darkness turns to day
Ill feel okay cause I know
It's all the same when it blows
With the wind in your face
Can't keep up with the pace
Its all fake, a mistake
What can I do to make it better
Sun is the weather so I
Feel fine tonight, go back inside
As the city plays pain away
A blank screen, black and white
Almost day, shine like the light
Sleep with open eyes, restless
Reckless with my heart
But not on a sleeve, a page
Is where It all starts
Lonliness feels fine now
Grew on me, no doubt now
I know its all about to change
Pack up my knapsack, not afraid
Of what is unknown, close to home
Move down the road, its still new
Or maybe the town, plus you
All bets are off, or maybe not
But I still think of you, when the lights off
In the dark, alone with my thoughts
You're all I secretly got, nothin' much
To talk about and I don't wanna ruin it.
