Though I hate the heat, I love the summer!
A Poem a Day Trophy


Sleeping late, eating breakfast for my lunch
Under no schedule, no hurry nor rush
Mounds of relaxation, my dreams come true
Memory of work, a thing of the past
Enjoying whispers of new freedom
Reading for pleasure, whatever I choose

Free from alarms, classes, and ogres
Unlimited. . .imagination alive
No one adores summer like a teacher
