the eyes dont say it all
Her eyes are red,
Newborn tears rolling down her face.
She’s hiding away,
From shame and disgrace.
No one sees the pain behind her eyes.
The fake smile, and
False laugh.
Is she really happy?
Or does sorrow seep through her veins?
Only you can decide,
The fate in which she lies.
Shall she sit alone and in distress?
Will her knight in shining armor,
Sweep her off her feet?
Serenity will overcome that woman,
Whose pain is hidden behind,
Her eyes
