Just some words about the hair loss condition Alopecia,
Well, it happened, and I had a hard time processing it. At 16 I went bald. I was faced with a lifetime of wearing wigs, hats, scarves. I was initially scared to show my bare scalp to the world, partly because of embarrassment and partly because I was afraid people would think I was a skinhead. But over about three years i came to accept it as my lot in life, and things got easier. People accepted my chrome dome a lot more readily than I dared hope. Instead of feeling that wigs were a mask I HAD to hide behind, they became an accessory that I donned only when I chose.
