A Mirrored Octet poem.
Dangers dare leap in front of fear;
Grasps tightly safety contracts.
Kisses devil smiling.
Written in regret,
A post-it note
Of goodbyes
Never-
More.
More
And more,
Burden free.
Now I'm alive,
In the present time.
His light now leads my path,
Walking toward His golden throne.
I live so free, no fears — safely. . .

An Octet poem begins with 8 syllables counts backwards to 1 syllable. A Mirrored Octet adds a second octet but is written backwards, beginning with 1 syllable up to 8 syllables.
