We had a poet come to our school today, and we had to write a poem. Here's what I did :)
Pink is like the sunrise,
and the sunset too.
But it's only pretty colours,
to me, and to you.
Pink at morning, sailor's warning;
pink at night sailor's delight.
A riddle, like the map of stars,
when the sailors leave the dock.
And they go far away,
the wind; it seems to mock.
The sunrise in the East,
sunset in the west.
Hues of the colour pink,
they twirl together at their best.
