a poem I wrote on 27th July 2001
I always allow my mind to make an alternative plan
That way I know I'll find something else to do instead
Can't let myself build all my hopes up for you
Or else my unrealised dreams may leave me depressed

As luck would have it, I have no problems accessing
the thoughts inside my head though I know I'm digressing
But surely that's better than indulging the emotions
in thoughts and feelings that are ultimately depressing?

I don't know what I'm going to do
I haven't had to make any plans
All that I care about is that I'm happy
If you were here too, I'd see that you were kept amused

Why waste your time being miserable and angry?
The dragonfly exists within the walls of Kidderminster
I'm not just a bachelor boy and you're not just a spinster.
