Dear Grimes,

I must thank you for your response to my proposal, it shows seriousness and I am delighted by it.Please note that I am doing this transaction with you alone based on my moral justification and I believe that you will understand my position after reading through this mail. As this transaction is of high magnitude, I would want to properly and formally introduce myself to you. I am 47 years of age; I am married with two children, one lovely daughter and a son. I have worked with Santander Bank (formerly Abbey National Bank) as an auditor for 10 years. Presently I am the head of the auditing department, a position I occupy since 2004.

Already his account has been declared dormant and by the end of this financial year, the funds could be declared as unclaimed or abandoned and therefore converted to company's funds. This automatically will be shared amongst the owners [directors and share holders] of my company who is looking out for this kind of opportunities. Similar things have been happening in the past and now that I am well placed, it is hard for me to continue to allow it happen without doing a thing about it. Part of my motive is to spend more than half of my personal share after these funds are wired to your account on charity. I can assure you that with the way I have planned this transaction, we can never have any kind of problems during and after this transaction. I have studied your country's laws regarding funds transfer of this nature and I can say that it is not a problem as long as we are able to provide your bank and government authorities documents to prove that the funds are legitimate.

Let me explain the step-by-step procedures of this transaction so that you may have a better understanding. For us to affect this, with the help of my professional assistance, you will stand in as the next of kin to the deceased by sending an application which I will prepare for you to the Head of International Remittance Division of my company that your entitlement be paid to you as the next of kin to the deceased. Once approval is given, you will be contacted directly for them to process and effect transfer. Once an order for transfer has been given, I will take a leave of absence and travel down to meet with you in your country for my share. I have all the details of the deceased as I have access to his confidential file in my office.

I view you to be in the capacity of a person that will be able to handle your own end of this project as I can not successfully conclude this transaction without your assistance. It is therefore necessary that you tell me a little about yourself as I hope that you would not betray me. As for Trust, it is known fact that trust is earned; it is not given out lightly. However, like I wrote in my letter to you, I am willing to give you 40% as your commission.
The modalities for our project have been worked out carefully and we cannot go wrong as long as you work with me in unity. I am very positive that our success is highly dependent on how much dedication we have towards this project. Please my direct involvement in this transaction should not be mentioned to anybody that would be contacting you from my company else it will jeopardize this transaction. This is because of the position I hold in the office. Upon the commencement of this transaction, you will be expected to make all direct communications with the Head of the International Fund Remittance Department of my company, while I will be behind the scene to tell you what to do and say.

With your full support and confidentiality we will pull this through within 14 working days. I look forward to hearing from you so I can send you a copy of an application that I have drafted to be sent by you to my company. Your application would be accompanied with a copy of deceased certificate of deposit of the said funds with my company, which I will send you later. Do give me a call or email me when you receive this message.

Yours truly,

Dear Tony.

You have a festive way of writing! Here at the home there is an old may who writes obscenities on the walls of the common room, he also writes festively

As you have told me a little about yourself, please indulge me as I do the same. I am 79 years old. I lost the use of my legs in a ballooning accident. I was married but my wife left me for a trapeze artist when the circus came to the home to perform. I have no kids but I have a fish called Jim.

Anyway, yes, please email me the form to fill out. I will put on me glasses, drink my warm milk and fill it out and return. 40% sounds very generous actually, i am not really in need of the money at this point in my life, is there someone else we could give it to?

Oh, by the way, my name is not Grimes. That is just my email address I made up.

Cordial regards

Jean Claude.

Dear Sir,
Thanks for your response. It seems you have not understood this proposal. I contacted you because you have the same last name with the late account holder. All i ask is that you quietly partner with me by providing an account where these fund left by the deceased will be transferred into. I am willing to give 40% of the entire sum as my partner and for your participation in this deal. I work in the finance house and i have carefully worked out everything. BE REST ASSURED THAT THIS TRANSACTION IS 100% RISK FREE; so you have nothing to be afraid of as long as you follow my directives at all times, the funds will arrive your account in just a couple of days.

You can attest to the fact that a transaction of this magnitude requires TRUST and  am putting my trust in you so i want you in return to put your trust in me.
If you are willing to to partner with me in this deal, reconfirm your details like i have introduced myself to you in my earlier e-mail. So i can know you a little more better because am trusting you with a huge amount here. Your details such as:

Full name:
Address:
Occupation:
Nationality:
Age:
Phone / Fax
Just to know you more better. Once i receive these info about you, i will send you documentations backing up this claim and direct you further on the next step and how to commence the claim process.
Waiting for your swift response.

Mr. Tony Stewart

Dear Tony,

I do understand the proposal perfectly. I am able to stand (or sit in my case as I have no legs) in as the next of kin of the poor deceased. I understand the transaction is 100% RISK FREE (unlike the home I am in. It is expensive, but STD's abound)

I will do all that you need, but as I mentioned, I do not need the 40%. I am doing this only to help you as I feel a filial bond between us growing.

Here are my details. Again, as I mentioned, I have no phone due to my age and deafness. I am now off for my daily treatment for scurvy.

Full name: Jean Claude van Damme of Hassilbak. nee: Grimes
Address: Happy Hour Nursing Home, 48 Bent Cock Rd, Malibu, USA
Occupation: Retired. Former Snapdragon builder
Nationality: 'Merican
Age: 79
Phone / Fax: None. Deafness precludes me needing a phone.

Dear Mr. Jean,

As a follow up to our operation here, one thing am assuring you is 'SUCCESS', please re-type and send the below application.Contact our info department for more consultation and processing of the payment (email: info5@consultant.com or by Fax: +44 705 368 7864) also attach the copy of these documents I already sent to you in this massage.
As soon as the paying office receives this application, the Security Code on the account will be removed and hence the approval process will commence. Once approval for payment is given, there will be a request for the preferred receiving account where the fund will be transferred.

In further response to your email, I believe that you are a person that I can trust in this project. It has been very hard for me to make up my mind on trusting someone with this magnitude without jeopardizing my future and the future of my family.

I want to assure you once again and let you know that you have my trust and I wish this trust and confidence to be mutual in nature. Without trust and confidence I do not believe that success can ever come our way. I believe that this is the beginning of a relationship that will last a long time to come. You have nothing to worry about as I have carefully made sure that what so ever information that is required by my office will be adequately taken care of.
Fill the below drafted application letter then scan any copy of your Identification copy (work Id card, Driver's License or international passport copy) and send it along with the application letter and other attached documents so that adequate attention will be given to your application, I hope that I can also commence this process immediately. Please do not hesitate to give me a call as soon as you receive this email and the documents. Thank you and many blessings.

Dear Mr Tony,

I have filled out the forms and sent them back. Do you have any news? I am about to take my afternoon nap and then get my nappy changed. After that we have bingo and then a reading by Steven Hawking. He will be reading Moby Dick to us. It should be exciting! Hopefully he can catch the tension and angst of the hunt.

Anyway, just wanted to know if there was any news. Again, I reiterate, I don't need the 40%. I ask you to find a better place for that money than my already stuffed to the gills bank account. My current balance is $5,700,000. I don't know what I will do with all that money as I have no family to leave it to. You work at the bank, maybe you can suggest something?

ok, got to go. Matron just came in with my pills and enema bag.

Cordial regards

Jean

Dear Tony,

I got a form from the bank to fill out, however I don't know the information they are looking for and today is not a good day as I have to have my weekly bowel movement "assisted" by two burly nurses and a large hose. So, as you can see, i am not in the best frame of mind at the moment.

They are asking me for:

Deceased date of birth
Deceased company
Deceased Mothers maiden name
Deposit certificate registration number
Death certificate number.

How could I know these things? I am only standing in as a relative, I am not an actual relative and I don't have access to this stuff. Please furnish me with these details,  I will fill out the form and return it. Or, do you want me to make things up?

Anyway, got to go, Nurse Rupert is here with the hose and wheelbarrow.

Jean

Thank you Jean for your email,
I have been ill for sometimes,i just resumed duty today. Please can you forward to me your last correspondent with our bank (Satander Bank).
waiting for your swift response.

Mr. Tony Stewart

Dear Tony, hope you are better! I had the trots once as well. Nasty business. My maid was forever emptying my chamber pot. Now as for the bank, nope. not heard a word from them. They tried to send me some documents to sign but the attachments would not open. I think they are not very well versed in the realm of international money transfer.

I crave your assistance Tony, and hope that the swelling goes down soon.

How can you say that Mr. Jean?

Sept 19

How can I say what Tony?

The bank is useless. I have tried to communicate with them and told them countless times that the attachments they send I cannot open, but they are useless. I feel they are not taking this venture seriously. Is there some other way we can conduct our business transactions?

Cordial regards

Jean

Sept 28th

Dear Tony. We seemed to have gotten sidetracked here with discussions of bowel movements and chamber pots. I suggest we go back to the beginning and work out why the bank never sent me the papers. Perhaps I can intrude on you and get you to contact me for them? I assume the deal is still valid?

Cordial regards

Jean
