A motivational poem.
The sapling starts out as a seed in the Earth.

Exploding from the ground like a livewire it begins the cycle.

The sapling is as weak as newly formed ice.

It needs support.

Wooden beams placed at its sides keep it grounded and safe from harsh winds.

Through the years the sapling prospers and the beams are removed so the tree can stand on its own.

The tree may wind slightly to passing winds but the beams purpose was served well.

With each passing of the seasons the tree gains a ring and grows stronger all the more.

Others may take what they can from the tree; shelter, food, shade until it is left bare.

One day a storm will pass that this tree just can’t fight and it will plummet down to mother Earth.

But until then this tree will stand mighty and tall.
