It seems the economy started to crash And carefree days were falling in the trash
~A Good Life~

Robert had always lived a good life
Raising 3 children with a loving wife
His job was at a big corporate company
So he never really worried about money

But it seems the economy started to crash
And carefree days were falling in the trash
For awhile his life still went as it should
Yet the future ahead was not looking good

There were moments he began to feel beat
When they began struggling to make ends meet
Soon their bills were climbing over his head
Even though he worked until his fingers bled

Many people like Robert were also reeling
As the cost of living went through the ceiling
We found that many started acting desperately
When they began losing their homes and security

Now Robert's family lost possessions they had
But it didn’t make them angry or even mad
By knowing they could fair any stormy weather
And believing in the love that kept them together

So remember if the life we’ve known disappears
Don’t be consumed by your doubts or fears
Because our hearts hold what we need to survive
If you’re grateful everyday to simply be alive
