A child on their own and unknowing of their circumstance and troubles.
Value has wilted at its own embrace
And each of us lay among shadows of memories we have bought or borrowed
With every second ticking towards
Wanting some and wanting more
I watch your value walk out the door
A memory of childish whimsy I began
Empty and naïve I appeared and lagged
My eyes see now what I misplaced
The value in my hands I gave away with sweet embrace
As my heart flutters with passionate feel
I look back and notice I dredged alone
My friends or my children I was misunderstood
Calamity now has since walked back home and my friends
I turned around and locked the home
