A poem about life long friends
ETERNAL FRIENDS

Two gals met and became best friends
The love they share has no end

They went through good times over the years
Had many laughs and shared their tears

Sometimes together, and more apart
Whether holding hands or praying hearts

Their lives are letters read, the script it said were gems
Full of life a song of friends would become hymns

A friendship from God, sure to make him smile
The gift of life on earth to live a little while

An appointment to keep someday soon
Well on past all the stars and moon

To walk together again, you two shall meet
On the road of gold in heaven's street

The friendship bound in love keeps you strong

The love that lasted a lifetime who could know
Touched by angels and blessed by God to forever flow

To dance and shout and sing God's glory
Turn the page, a sweet reunion of the unfolding story
