A reflection on my school years now passed, inspired by my father.
You led me there, I took my place
With many others in my class.
Right there you must have realized
How rapidly those years can pass.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
I saw tears form in your eye.
Teaching me that things may hurt,
But it's acceptable to cry.

You are always there to help me,
Stand on my two feet, you tell me
Daughter, it's alright, I'm here now
I can help, please just tell me how.

Now that that those years have passed promptly,
Middle, high school, graduation,
Teenage years are flashing past me
Your gift to me: solid foundation

The luminescent sky is full of stars,
They're calling my name from afar.
Azure lands lands brimming with enchantment
This musical land, now mine to augment.
