Sad situation with many religous leaders today.
Innocent as lambs, but they had not a clue
the voice of their shepherd, would surely subdue
The shepherd would fleece, the flock of his herd
though he continues, with judgment deferred

With tithing and doctrine, and child abuse
With the sound of his voice, the masses seduce
With pomp and show, and dressed as a king
If you get a little closer, you can kiss his ring

Like wolves in sheep's covering, they speak things twisted
The kings of the earth, their help they enlisted
The holiday time, to buy from the merchants
They’re all thick as thieves, and conniving as serpents

The masses go marching, down the road to destruction
The shepherd continues, without disruption
But Jesus felt pity, for the crowds that were scattered
the ones that were skinned, torn and tattered

Broad is the road, that leads to the slaughter
but narrow and cramped, is the road to the water
where if you drink, then I'm sure you'll see
You will get life, and the truth will set you free
