A Thanksgiving poem
Don’t let me undo
What you did do
To undo the things I have done
Ungrateful, unholy, unstable, unruly
Most definitely under a spell

Tripped on the gravel
A rocky road I did travel
Somehow I heard you yell
“I’ll show you mercy, power and glory…”
You unraveled it all

Loneliness, unwritten, with lavished love
Hurting, unwritten, the demons did run
Lost, unwritten, a light shone from above
Old life, unwritten, when you said it was done

So, don’t let me undo
What He did do
To undo the things I have done
Unblemished, unstained, untarnished, now changed
Most thankfully under His blood
