Seeking the beloved
THE BOATMAN

Swaying wildly on the waves of uncertainty,
On the turbulent ocean of my test,
Sailed by the oars of my craving heart,
In the boat of my hope and happiness,
I started to find the island of my love.

On the waves roaring and soaring,
Amid the sways and jerks,
The boat moves on.

I can see the turbulence dying astern,
Alas, who would see the growing one in my heart.

The Island of my love “You O My Dearest”,
Appears, but seems far and near as well.
Far, as it is, away away away,
Near as I see it through my heart.
Will I ever reach it, or have I already reached.

O my boat, stay strong,
O my oars, don’t calm down.
O my Dearest, open your arms,
Take me out of the sea,
Receive me with my boat and oars.
