feelings I felt as a survivor of sexual abuse
What if I told you that
these hands are bleeding, and these fists are pleading,
waiting for years to shatter a jaw and puncture some lungs for a moment of freedom.
What if I told you, I was locked and bounded up, fed with false hope and embedded with lies
lies that if were uncovered would leave me gutted alive
lies that left me asleep with tears flooded from my eyes.
Its a dream in a nightmare because you can't see clear
picture that but you can't
the devil in heaven or freedom in a locked penitentiary
you find that and you find me.
