[1]Where does my voice go,
When put on a page?
Rises through the air,
But falls when engaged.

[5]Anchoring the machine,
Which produces thought,
Set sail in forever,
The answers I sought.

A Voice

[9]Guided direction,
Propels me this way,
Told of enemies,
Who lead thoughts astray.

[13]Dance with the suitors,
Who'd fight to consume,
This yearning desire,
I'm left to assume.

[17]Waltz in time, speed up;
Step upon my feet.
Jive as though no end's,
Ready for you to meet.

[21]Back and balanced,
Centered once again,
Bridging the gap,
Of “I have” and “I can.”

[25]Days that leave me left,

[26]Meet days from the right,

[27]Trying together,
To gather insight.

[29]Questioning the world,

[30]Framing of my thoughts,

[31]Fighting the constructs,
Of what I am not.

[33]Are the reasons for,

[34]Living in this way,

[35]To create and shape,
The unwritten day.

[37]Life left unfurled.

[38]Untangling knots.

[39]Labor releasing,
The truth that I've sought.
