It's a stereotype.
If the world could end with laughter,
It could be a giggle or a roar, it doesn't matter.
'Cause we leave this place hand in hand,
And after here is the hereafter.

If the earth died as an average joke,
Cause the magnets melted and the final dam broke,
All we need to rise above the vast sea is a boat,
And if we don't have one and we should drown,
Even after death we still will float.

If the race should vanish in an act of magic,
But without resurrection like the rabbit in the hat trick,
The end has no applause, only static.
The audience kept watching to catch the secret.
And now it's over and they still don't have it.
When time is too much, where does the magician stash it?

If life winds down, to the rhythm of your favorite song,
You'd be lying if you said you wouldn't sing along..
But a three minute melody doesn't last too long.
And if no one shares your taste in music,
Get ready for the clash of the gong.

I'd like to think the world could end with cheer,
Because it is the end of struggle and the end of fear.
But something tells me,
As the climax draws near,
The world shall end with a lonely tear.
