The Arc you are on.
Infant me had eyes of information suction
I knew I had a desire to be the Know-It-All.
Trotting along a path of infinite instruction
Into a realm of my own blind destruction
Between Trivia and Truth I wanted to know it all.

On the dirt road to a golden mind paradise
I was yet to meet a Know-It-All, I'd be the first.
I learned pain and shook hands with every vice.
Found a truth or two, forgot to put them on ice.
Now I know, and won't stop until my brain bursts.

Today I write a poem about what I know
The poem will be brief, I am lacking the fodder
Trivia isn't real, Truth is every instant I let go.
I quit looking, distracted by the show.
Knowledge is sand and my mind is water.
All I can do is purify the flow.

The infant to old man will be turned.
It was the only truth i long ago learned.
Overanalyzed through the ages, its novelty be burned.
Despite my efforts, the learning curve is a glorious arc,
That returns me once again to quiet wisdom's dark.
