A poem about discomfort.
Unravel.

The fabric is fraying at a pace far greater than expected.
There is no wind
Yet still the pieces keep drifting
Unravelling as it may be
From this woven
Distinctively delicate place.
With thorny branches and unspoken loneliness
You glide through vast and unbearable spaces
Haunted by a hollow darkness that is your demise.
Color bleeds from your bones
Staining the grains below you.
Humbly, your strands loosen
Aimlessly searching for their eternal sanctuary.
