About memories and reflection on life.
We hold onto memories and never let go.
They are what keep us sane when we just don't know.
They stay the same,
Everything else is changed.
They remind us of the past,
And give us reason to let the moment last.
It's another memory in the making,
and one day, may save you from breaking.
Reflect,
Look back,
Don't let this life pass.
You only have one shot,
And you only get one try,
So try your best to get it right.
Look back,
Tell me what you see,
What do you really need?
Remember the times,
we had soda for wine?
Remember when,
We thought our lives would end?
Look back on those days,
Don't let memories fade.
Hold onto the past,
But don't let it hold you back.
Love all that have changed you,
For better or worse,
Because it's one more lesson you learned.
Life doesn't last forever,
That you must know.
The exceptional moments are limited,
Don't let them go.
Remember what made you strong,
It will help you carry on.
And when you think there's nothing left to hold onto,
It's time to make a new memory between me & you.
