A poem about the process of getting over a relationship
Slowly in the dark pervading

Guilty shadow- self explaining

metaphor of desire

out of sight and out of mind

but the heart is not so kind tonight

Tell me all about yourself and have another drink of gentle poison

I am strange

Empty bodies-silent binds

Swinging to the music of denial...

Moment's spent and time is seeping

Loveless carcass

Exposed and weeping -morning

has arrived

Kiss and cuddle- awkward place

Softly on a stranger's face

I'm leaving

her behind

Lovers lose and lovers learn

Those who don't just gently burn

I'm leaving her behind
