Another musically inspired poem.
Promise.

Here is a Promise.
Relax; take it easy, it will not be a big deal.
It is not as those tattoos in the sky we once saw,
So please, don’t say lazy, for this is what I promise you, my dear.

First of all, I will say Thank you!
Thank you, I am still alive,
Thank you for showing me what hurts the most,
And thank you, for every time we touch.

Tonight, Tonight, Tonight will be special,
Because with these words I will make a promise,
And the first thing I promise you is a sanctuary where you will always be safe.

Second, I will give you this Flower Petal.
Remember the Spell you cast on my, that summer when the flowers were blooming?
The Sun made us burning up, but we didn’t care,
So tell me: to you, does the candy from then still taste sweet?

Whenever, wherever, it will be special anyways,
Do you see the glitter in the air?
The Second thing I will promise you, is that when you call on me, I will be by your side.

Last, I will hide you in the shadows.
I will save you from the overdrive the world has gone into,
I will be a real man, for you, only you,
I would even drink toxic from your lips, for you, only you.

Here I am, standing to defend you,
When I’m with you, I feel starstruck.
The last thing I will promise you is the World.

This is my promise, My Holy Fight,
But I’m but a mere Summerboy,
If I have to, I will hunt you for Infinity,
You are not like the Stupid girls,
To me, you’re like the most valuable Ruby.

So even though this will cause great complication,
I hope we will thrive; harder, better, faster, stronger together.

My dearest You – I tell you this: the Art of Suicide is a frightening thing.
I already hear the Sky Chords, and I lie in total darkness.
So, Please, Please don’t leave me, Please.

My Dearest You – I tell you this: at the beginning, it was scary, but now I can’t wait for it to come.
But even though I love you, My Dearest You, it’s all your fault. Everything is your fault.

You killed those days full of loving,
You Bragged like some “Mr. Money”,
You thought you were “Keen on Disco”,

But to me, you were only a little piece of heaven.

My Dearest You – I tell you this: I wanna be you.
My mamma always said I should find happiness, and so I did.
But this is not what I wanted, this Gorey Demise.

This is my destiny, as it is to all humans,
But I admit, it was a fun and lovely Love Game we had,
But my Life’s Journey ends now.

This is how it goes down.
