Sometimes, I feel we are seeking an ever unattainable dream. Though, life is but a dream.
Where, in the jungle, do the tiger tracks lead?
Does it fight for the prey that has sunk from its grasp;
drunk from the chase like a warrior with his mead?
Can you hear it's purr of satisfaction; it's groan and it's rasp?

Alone in it's sojourn through the forest of the night,
seeking it's prey through the valley of eternity.
Forever lost from the world of light,
clawing it's way through the thick of dark, so furtively.

While the gods watch upon it with abject horror,
content with the chase, the tiger begins to roar.
For none shall know the predators glee.
a being unlike us, it is forever free......
