I hide my pain from others so they don't worry about me.

The thousand tears I've cried at night
I keep to myself
Some call it pride
But all I do is hide
I don't like worrying friends or family
Because they are dear to me
I try to be there for others
and not worry about me
I try to take your pain
as well as mine
You wonder why
It's just the way I am and wish to be.
You ask if how I am
I will ok, good or fine
when inside I just wish to die.
I try everyday to find reasons to live
and even to get out of bed.
I try to find the silver lining
behind my pain and rage.
Now ask me..do I sound that I'm ok?
Do I ask you to worry about me?
No. I just ask you to be there for me
when I'm ready to break out of my shell
and let you peak inside
what is causing me such misery.
