What exactly is peace?
What is peace?
A flock of geese?
A feeling in your heart?
You could be
Forever free
If you could just part.
Part with war
Open the door
Bright light lies behind.
Stop the fight
You have the right
Peace you would then find.
If we could care
If we could share
This Earth with all mankind.
Forgive, forget
Conflicts you’ve met
You’ll find it in your mind.
Splashing down
Upon the ground
My tears, they all this way.
On the shear
Thought that we’re
Dying day by day.
How could we
Have failed to see
The error of our ways?
Will this end?
Will we mend?
Will we end this phase?
The time of men
Shall meet its end
If we do not cease.
It is not fair
Are we sure that there
Is such a thing as peace?
