I saw him, but he got away, now I am sworn to make him pay.
VENGEANCE

At the breaking of morning dawn
I became what I believed to be a pawn
When I found my guardians on the floor
With red liquid sprayed on the front door

Somewhere in and across the keep
Was there to be that murderous creep
As I came closer to my lonely room
There it was fate, that had lead me to my doom

The menace stood silent still
With the desire of value in his pockets fill,
He turned and saw the child that was me
And attempted to put me out of my misery

But I was merely a nutshell
Outside weak with inside well
With the urge to kill the crook
And recover all the things that he took

He ran away, through the wall of glass
And through the clustered houses, did he pass
What just happened, I thought
I was never a threat, should he have been caught

Or was it I who was his fear
That had made his escape so near
That is not what is critical
For his nature was dark and cynical
I saw him but he got away
Now, I am sworn to make him pay
