Ups and downs of high school love
I see him walk by
and try to say hi
as the words leave my lips
he gives her a sweet kiss

I see him walk by
and try to say hi
as the words leave my lips
he takes her hands

I see him walk by
and try to say hi
but the words don't leave my lips
because he gives me a sweet kiss
