Struggles test our grit and bestow mirth,in the glory lost and found, sown - harvested show
Too long i have waited for you in line
Tense, sentence, all held up in pretense fine
A mind undone,hyphen a siphon,tracing you with aplomb
Among familiar things grown strange to me
Making my way,i pause,i feel and hark
Resonating in ears tempera dunes stark
A fool,a dazzled being deprived of sight
Eying the stars, through struggle beyond the farce
Accustomed to the dark, gasping in strife
Wading the evadings, camouflaging the bunt line
I sketch the etch, the shadow and its fetch
With a sound like the pulse of the heart
that is changed to the hammer beat of the impish feet
Drowning the clamor for glitz, glam or the sham...
