A poem about my new baby as I anxiously await my baby's arrival into the world.
A new baby, our first baby.
How excited we are to share our lives
With our precious baby.

The days seem to stretch longer,
As our baby is growing inside me,
Each day growing healthy and stronger.

Will I have a girl or boy
Colors of soft pink or baby blue
The design of each new toy.

The hours stetch to days
As I think about the first glimpse
Of seeing my precious baby face to face

A new baby, our first baby.
How excited we are  to share our lives
With our precious baby.
