A poem about my fear of being forgotten
I may never climb that mountain,
Nor touch the moon.
I may not travel the world,
At least not too soon.

I may never write a novel,
Nor win a Nobel prize.
No matter what I fail at,
Remember the demise.

Losing is an option,
Surely I will not mind.
Just remember what I lost at,
Would you be so kind?

I live to be remembered,
To stay in someone's psyche.
Keep me in your mind,
For whatever reason you'd like.
