A feel of a mother's love and to watch her child grow up
A Mother's fear
Is not watching her baby
Learn how to walk,
And then fall down.
They will eventually
Begin to run.

A Mother's fear
Is not watching her child
Fall off a bike.
They will eventaully
Get back up.

A Mother's fear
Is not hearing her child
Cry from a scrape.
It will eventaully
Heal itself.

A Mother's fear
Is not watching them
Fail the second grade.
They will eventually
Make it to High School.

A Mother's fear
Is not watching them
Depressed from a heartbreak.
They will soon get married.

A Mother's fear
Is not to see them
Fail in life.
They will eventually
succeed in all things.

A Mother's fear
Is not having to lose them in death.
But a Mother's fear...
Is to never have that chance,
To experience their love and optimism
That once lived within them.
