This poem is about the grief we feel when everything feels out of our reach.
Knowing what will be is all I've been led to believe.
Nothing will shine except the glistening diamonds in the sky.
How could something so far away seem so close?
It's only the ignorance that keeps us imprisoned.
Sometimes uncertainty leads us to the place we know we belong.

Bring me to life from this pernicious state.
Sing me to sleep so I don't think about the day.
Remind us how hard it is to stay if all else will go away.
But don't disgrace the day until you've awaken all the same.

It's the experiences we live which define us in our death.
What do we do for the ones who fall?
What do we say if it's all just our fault?
Never let go of your grace.
It's what keeps us alive when we're lost in space.
