A poem I wrote for my daughter (she is 6 now, was 4 when I wrote it)
My darling baby don't grow so fast
Life is short, lets make it last
Little hands, little feet, button nose
Chubby legs, rosey cheeks, sweet tiny toes
These are the things that I love about you
At this moment, your blue eyes too
I will never forget, I will always remember
My sweet little baby, born in December

My precious girl, don't grow so fast
Life goes by, in a flash
Baby-doll dresses, cute pink bows
Polish on your fingernails and toes
Where has the time gone
Your already a toddler
No longer an infant, my beautiful daughter
Running around here and there
Following your mommy everywhere

I'll now tell you some things you must never forget
Live life to its fullest, waste no time with regret
Follow your heart, but use your head
Don't be afraid to love, but be careful where you tread
One final thing I want you to know
Its how much I love you with my heart and my soul.

Love Mama
