a man living alone with his grief decides to take refuge through death.
Alone

Cold sweat soaked through his clothes

and dripped into his hollow eyes.

Stomach twisting and clenched with pain

from all the disheartening lies.

Convulsing nerves make his body shiver

from years of self doubt.

Yet the world just shut him out.

He searched his heart and looked desperatly for peace

but love was too far away.

Hope was out of reach.

Then a frightening thought came to him as he stared

blankly at tha wall.

There was but a single way to end all this misery.

He'd have to end it himself.

Then he would find paradise where no pain holds no one.

He fired the shot...
