And the dead shall walk the earth
Without life
Without love
Without emotion
A mere reminder
A shell of what was once attached to a heartbeat
A heartbeat that with every thud told me to live a life that made me fond of breathing
For you was my air
But I breathe no more
I feel I’m going under and there’s not a soul to bring me to life
I will not awaken
And for the life I lived I am destined to roam
Without emotion
Without love
Without life
…..And the dead shall walk the earth
