How does the sun affect one woman's day
Dawn begins
Out rises the yellow glow of warmth and life
The sky grows bright and turns from dark to light
The sun shines above the earth

What grace and despair intends to arrive on the hours that tick by
Will I be laughing or crying as the moon flies up
Will the heat burn in my skin or will the wind blow my blood cold
Morning begins

The sun shines and the light surrounds the house
My clothes are few and close between. Let me skin burn brightly
I sit on the grass, shading my eyes and admiring the view
Peace on my earth and goodwill to those around me

I feed my family
They fill themselves with energy and nutriution
I watch them run, laugh, cry and smile. Having fun in the happy filled sun
Life is good for me. Very good

Night time falls. The sun begins to cease
My energy begins to unwind, and I dwindle down to a sleepy stance
Eternal peace has entered my domain, quiet has made way for the hours ahead
And soon, the sun will make way for a new day
