A silly tale from a child's perspective during a rotten crummy day.
Maddy Moo’s “It don’t even matter bout it ” day

Lastnight when I was sleeping my cat must a had a tummy ache cuz that guy made a hugest hairball mess on my favorite softie sheets.  And my mom said I would have to use the boring green ones until my softie ones were clean.  Ugh. It don’t even matter bout it

When I came downstairs for breakfast I stubbed my piggy toe.  Then when I said I wanted my favorite sweetie cereal with yummy marshmallows my mom said my big sister was eating the last bowl and I would have to wait til next thrusday when she went to the store again. And I would have to settle for the other kind that is not so sweetie and didn’t even have yummy marshmallows.  Ugh. It don’t even matter bout it

Then I was trying to get dressed I couldn’t find my favorite cowgirl shirt.  My mom said it was cuz I left it at my gramma pickles house last weekend and I would have to pick another one and be quick as a bunny bout it cuz we were gonna be late for school.  On my way out to the car our dog stepped on my sparkliest sparkley shoes and made them super muddy and not so sparkley.  Ugh. It don’t even matter bout it

At school I didn’t get to stand on the princess stool to wash my hands.  And the soap maker exploded on my shirt and the hand dryer messed up my hair  I couldn’t do the bestest puzzle in class cuz that ava got it first.  Then when I was building the princessiest, beautifullest castle with some blocks, preston knocked it down.  My teacher said I had time to try again and boys and girls can make wrong choices but making gooder ones was better.  I wonder what she’d say if some ogre knocked down her princess castle.  Ugh.  It don’t even matter bout it

Lauren wouldn’t share the dress up clothes and madison was singing so loud I couldn’t even read a book at circle time.  Even if I knew how to read, all I could do was look at the pictures and be all bored and annoyed to me. ugh. It don’t even matter bout it

After school I told my mom I wanted to go to kara’s house.  But she said we couldn’t cuz we had to go home and have some lunch.  I said we could have some lunch at kara’s house, but mom said we couldn’t do that either cuz my little sister needed a nap.  That girl gets awful crabby with out a nap so I just went home with mom.  Turned out my little sister was already a giant crabby patty cuz she cried real loud in the car all the way home.  My ears needed a vacation like my mom’s.

I had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for lunch but my mom forgot to cut off the crusts.  We didn’t have goldfish crackers so I had to eat the whale ones.  Then when I wanted to play outside after lunch. I couldn’t even do that cuz the rain was falling left and right.  Ugh. It don’t even matter bout it

I missed my favorite cartoon.  My mom said I couldn’t have 3 snacks within 20 minutes.  All the good coloring books were colored in and I couldn’t even find my purple crayon.  The rain storm knocked out  our power and I couldn’t even turn the tv on for a whole hour.  Ugh. It don’t even matter bout it

My big sister came home from school and stole the tv just when I was getting it back.  Our dog ate my snack on the table.  When my dad got home he said he wanted psghetti for dinner.  I’m not even in a mood for psghetti, but my mom said I couldn’t have dessert until I ate my dinner.  Ugh. It don’t even matter bout it

I had to wait for my little sister to take a bath.  Then my big sister locked me outta the bathroom so she could brush her teeth.  Someone splashed water on the floor and I dropped my warmest footie jamas in it.  My bath wasn’t warm enough. The good smelly shampoo dumped out in the tub.  And I dropped my toothbrush in that toilet. Ugh. It don’t even matter bout it

When it was time for bed I kissed my daddy goodnight and his whiskers scratched my face.  My mom couldn’t carry me to bed cuz she had to carry my little sister instead.  I had to wait all night for my mom to help my big sister pick out clothes for tomorrow and put those boring green sheets on my bed.  I was just bout to yell I’m not even tired and sleeping is boring and it don’t even matter bout it...

When my mom walked thru my door with my favorite softie sheets.  They were still warm and snuggley from the dryer and good smelly too.  Then she snuggled me up and hugged me tight.  She sang my  favorite silliest song and tucked me in all warm and cuddley.  She kissed my forehead and said she loves me to the moon and back.

And all that crabby, boring, not even good day stuff... it don’t even matter bout it
