Some fairy tales are just that... fairy tales.
The Nursery Rhythm Girl

A lost Little Miss Muffet
Found she wouldn’t tough it
But just like Bo Peep
She was looking for sheep

Poor confused Cinderella
She came upon a caring fella
In his eye she placed a twinkle
But set him up like Rip Van Winkle

Rapunzel in the castle tall
Felt the need to experience it all
She doesn’t see the hidden cost
Of finding what she thinks is lost

So Goldilocks is trying new beds
Turning the all the princes heads
But that doesn’t bother her none
Just as long as she feels she's won

Single wolves are always hungry to host
But leaving you empty when needed most
So skip along Little Miss Robbing Hood
Nothing said will ever be understood

Go do what you will and find what you wish
But you may turn bitter from eating that dish
A deep desire for substance-less diet
It saddens him to see her buy it

Yes they understood, those Brothers Grim
And yes he knows, that it sucks to be him
In love there really is no happy ending
Just a fork in the road or subtle bending

It’s certainly sad but true my friend
Love will always come into its own end
Seems the better it was, the more it will hurt
Whether you’re walking away or shoveling dirt

So don’t be jaded or caress that pain
Because sunshine’s there after the rain
So enjoy your time and make it real
'Ti's better to love, than never feel
