A king he is not poem.

Not King
by Eellusion

Who is he
To think that
Higher than us
He once sat

Did he really believe
That he owned us all
Did he truly think
He would not fall

His power great
But faulty and weak
He thought he high
And shunned the meek

He owned lands
Far and wide
But near the end
He ran to hide

That kingdom grand
Now lost by him
He turned his back
From light to dim

In the dark
He wasted away
In the light
He refused to stay

He was evil
From start to end
His mind weak
Started to bend

An emperor
A king
A man of power
Now a thing

A thing of uselessness
And despair
He was not grand
He did not care

His people suffered
He let them down
The world went dark
When he wore the crown

Walls crumbled
Cities burned
People fled
And never returned

He ran from it all
When things got tough
He watched the end
He had had enough

The world turned to war
He knew it was his doing
But he cared little
For the crowds booing

They hated him
He hated they
He wanted the power
That chased him away

So much power
He could not use
For people revolted
From his abuse

His power became
His demise
When he looked up
And shut his eyes

His death was swift
To good for he
He should have suffered
Like he made we

He was hopeless
And they were glad he'd die
He was crazy
He made them cry

Who was he
To think he could
Rule the world
The way he would

Who did he think
Would follow his lead
To fall in dark
To fall and bleed

He was no king
But a stupid man
A man of doubt
A man who ran

His death was victory
His death did toll
The glories end
Of his royal roll
