A couple in love.
Raindrops dance along the sidewalk,
nipping our heels as we race for the door.
Inside you, lick away the rain,
clinging to my face.
I, pause, captured by the moment.

You follow me upstairs and I,
turn around to change.
Unbidden, you step closer,
your hands kissing my shoulder.
I sigh, in contentment and,
breathe out love.

No speaking is needed, as you,
pull me closer, still I,
can’t believe we found forever,
just being here, together.
I turn around to catch
your look of adoration.

Your lips press on mine; insistent,
that we leave off clothes.
And, with my hands in yours,
you pull me in,
to the bed that we share,
now and forever.
