A grim smile hits his lips
A grim smile hits his lips
Hearing the drip drip drip of blood
as he slides the knife out of an innocent back
The brittle skulls fill his mind, filling up the previous emptiness
His eyes lit like a candle
Fiery blue at first
but will slowly die down
to an orange blush
then the flame will die,
burnt out and blackened

The blood shines on his bare skin,
glinting softly in the moonlight
A full moon, almost as bright as day.
Stepping through the alleys,
in the corner of his eye is a woman crying
Sobbing
Weeping
Mourning.
He walks right past her, barely noticing the tears
The adrenaline feeds him,
yet leaves him wanting more.
He closes his eyes,
Seeing the innocent man’s suit fill with blood.

As his eyes closed,
the dying man was choking on his own vile blood
The blood seemed black against his purple lips,
The color in his eyes slowly faded
The crime scene became black and white
The thoughts raced through the innocent man’s head
as he took his last breath,
