A short poem.
Hurt me tender,
Kill me slow,
Make the blade slender,
So I won't ever let go.

Breathe me in,
Let your face be the last I'll see,
So I have hate within,
And your slave I'll be.

What'd our friendship mean to you?
Do you feel my pain?
Can our friendship ever be true?
Or will this hatred grow and remain?

What did I do,
To deserve what I'm getting?
Tell me a million times two,
Because I keep forgetting...

I remember when we'd laugh and talk,
Imagine life much more insane,
A place where we're wanted where everywhere we walk.
It was anything but plain.

I still call you friend,
Still have said nothing about you that is bad,
Just get around this bend...
And hopefully you won't be mad.

So I'll be here if you want me,
I won't prove a bit,
I won't protect myself from hurting,
From your slaps and your hits.
