stress and hardship sometimes gets to you
sick to my stomach, so unsure
wish life came with a brochure
lost confused, torn refused,
battered bruised, often misused
seeking solace, quick repair
no quick fix, not even a prayer
you don’t know, shuda guessed?
sad depressed, quietly stressed

sick to my stomach, so unclear
talk about a tightening sphere
all tensed up, nothing loose
try to calm down? what’s the use?
hungry, starving, don’t wanna eat
white flag waving, calling defeat
where you going? heart slowing
fears growing, tears now flowing

sick to my stomach, insecure
awful choices, judgement poor?
no its not, follow my gut?
its not easy, what a long shot
what do I do, where do I go?
I don’t know, emotions pleateu
empty or full, its only a glass
somehow at peace, but will it last?
