Trying to mend a broken heart.
Alone, hurt, left to suffer and succumb
Somehow she survived, but her heart went numb
No longer was it beating, no longer could it be heard
And drop by drop, all her tears disappeared

Nobody to share her pain, it grew in her heart
Hurt & broken, she decided to take her life apart
Moved by her plight, destiny played its part
And again she survived and was reborn with a stronger heart

Now she knew better, how to deal her cards
When she gets hit, how to hit back even more hard
No longer she needed support, she rose on her own
But from her newly born heart all the love was gone

And so I wish I could hold her hand in mine
Along with her I could walk back in time
And erase all the horrible memories that she ever had
If only she could give her heart one last chance.
