Do you not know
How could I
Ever show
By any attempt
I will be shamed
Exposed for who I am
Nonetheless I must go
You I must take
So listen well
Pay bloody hell
Breath and skin
Sickness within
Outward bound
All must flow
Onto you
And the world not known
See and believe
What is fake
Made real
Illusions for gain
Experience for profit
A gift spelled curse
It is mine
No one else's
These words
Honest tunnels
Dug out of my brain
Pouring out
Filling the page
Lending you my pain
In pseudo ways
How could I care
I am incapable
What I do
What I say
The truth displayed
Are all a side effect
Of my very existence
Dare you read
Dare you believe
Right there
In your chair
Within your darkened lair
Lit by curious fears
You don't mean
Nothing at all to me
How could you ever
Simple and true
Honest as I can be
Know this
Certainty is bliss
And you alone
Have the power
To set me free
What is free
How does it feel
I do not know
And I am sure that you
Are as equally dumfounded
But together maybe
We can find out
Breath and skin
Is where we once began
Like-minded souls
Made into strangers
All on the same path
From life to death
What comes next
Depends
Then again
Maybe it does not
An illusion of thought
A wish filled concept
Based on many lies
Convincingly told
By wolves wearing
The skin of men
Hear them or not
Judgment is meant
For the judgmental
Something far past known
Has and will always be in control
Connected, let us begin
Just as we once did
I will lead you
And in turn
You will set me free
There can be
Nothing less
And certainly
Everything more
That is what life
Has come to teach us to expect
Breath and skin
Living through each other
An unknown symbiotic relationship
That must persist…
