a nonsenical verse
I remember a time that happened next year
The most beautiful sight you never did hear
A cacophony of hues from a singer color blind
Etched on a canvas that no one could find

We gathered together alone in our homes
The bald men compared who had the best combs
In the dark, we read Seuss by an unlit candle
We dug a deep hole using a shovel with no handle

The mowers were poised to cut the fresh tar
The kitchen was cleared to make room for the car
A moose in the cabinet, made it feel like the wild
But his hoofs made it hard for the floor to be tiled

They had so much work there was nothing to do
The craftsman had names like Kanga and Roo
The warehouse was full of shelves that were empty
The doors had no hinges, twelve locks, had one key

We found the lost error, her name was Ms. Stake
She left just in time to serve us some cake
No forks did we have, so we ate with a cat
I think it will be the last time we do that

This epic I write, a most glorious song
After the first line, you said it was too long
My last sheet of paper, must end this, I think
The printer is flashing, cuz there’s no more
