All we are are dustmites.
I am just a tiny person
Living in a tiny house
Driving in a tiny car
Eating off of tiny plates
Living on a speck of dust
In a big, big world.

I am quite a little man
But I delight in the songs I sing
Because my lungs are little but they can
Invite air in and shoo it out
In and out of my little mouth
Inhale poison and breathe it out
It could make me come around.
Maybe one day I’ll come around.

I’m sure giants live among me
But I’m sure they’d never stoop so low
To teach me how to grow up strong
I bet they look down on me
With pity gleaming in their eyes
Plenty of space on their shoulders
But they say to themselves
“If they wanted help they would have asked”
