I try and try, what happens when I'm tired of trying?

Selfless, I try to be.
Beautiful, I try to believe.
Jealousy, I try to control.
Reputation, I try to uphold.

What happens when I grow tired of trying? There's just so much and sometimes I end up crying.

Hold me close and tell me it'll all be alright.
Hold me up with your strength when I'm feeling weak.
